"SLEDDING"

Cam had the day off so we decided to go do something. I hate sitting around the house so we went for a drive north to Willow. It was a perfect day to go sledding but we could not find a good sledding hill in this area. So I had the bright idea of doing this. Please note that we were on a snow padded road and there were no cars anywhere. Also Cam loves me dearly and would never let me do anything that was really stupid. Oh and kids, do not try this at home.

After this video was taken, I did take quite a tumble but I will not tell you how far I went flying. Lets just say I landed in a fluffy pile of snow. It was definatly a fun time.

Thanksgiving and such

Thanksgiving Day we went to the Alaska Wildlife Refuge about 40 minutes south of Anchorage. It was a fun day with all the snow and the animals looked like they were having fun in the snow too. The Bison was absolutly huge and it took all my will power to not pet him!!!
The day after Thanksgiving we went to Hatchers Pass and went sledding on their killer hill. No pictures were taken though because the snow was coming down pretty hard. It was a great day!!

Wedding Day

Today was the most beautiful day we could ask for. It was sunny and there was no wind. We just had a very relaxing day that was wonderful. Here are some pictures of the festivities.

Camping

A few weeks ago, we went camping at Bertha Creek. Of course we were the only people in the campground because it was snowing and cold and we were lucky enought to have found a free pile of wood for the fire. I love winter camping. It is so much fun building the fire, setting up the tent, making dinner, piling on layers of clothing, and, most of all, curling up in the sleeping bag. Cam did not enjoy any of this, as he was awake all night.

Marbles Look-a-like Contest Winner!!!!

Well, after much deliberation, we have finally determined the winner of the Marbles Harsgrove Look-a-like Contest. She is younger than we expected, but due to some last minute alterations to her hair, she won by a landslide. Congrats, Hella..........

Another day, Another dollar, and alot more stress

Both of us are getting super stressed because of classes and work. It is only a month into the semester and we are in over our heads. Needless to say we will get four days off in November due to the most wonderful day in our lives- our wedding!! We took engagement pictures in Hope on Saturday and I must say it was an absolutly gorgeous day. Considering the summer was- - well basically we had no summer- - it was a wonderful day!! So this is the very first time blogging and I dont know if I will like it or not. When asked by my future in-laws if I will ever create a blog I quickly responed "NEVER". But here I am. I figure it is a good way to let everyone know how we are doing up here in the great north.
